Digital Body Paint- CG Art Part I

Written on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 10:28 AM

Painting a human body is a hard work and requires good skilled hands of an inspired artist. Sometimes people tend to compare digital art with "old school" art and come to conclusion that computer graphics shouldn't even be considered as art. Oh, how wrong they are!

It is crucial for every artist to have a talent, inspiration, skills, practice and knowledge in order to make a piece of art no matter if he/she holds the brush or the mouse in his/hers hand. Just like in classic art, not anyone can make a masterpiece. To prove this, here are series of digitally manipulated photos from well known image manipulation and contest website Worth1000's Photoshop contests called "Body Shop". So far there are 10 finished contests and 10 galleries. These pictures are randomly picked images.

Please note all images are digitally manipulated!
